MWC 24 Jewel 300m Automatic Military Divers Watch with Sapphire Crystal and Ceramic Bezel in Black PVD Steel
SKU: SUB/PVD/B/A
This military-spec diver’s watch in covert black PVD is part of our current operational range. Built for reliability rather than fashion, it combines a high-spec automatic movement with genuine tool-watch construction.
The watch features a ceramic bezel and a scratch-resistant, anti-reflective sapphire crystal. It is powered by a 24-jewel self-winding automatic movement with a 41-hour power reserve, delivering excellent performance and durability at a very competitive price point.
Military-Grade Black PVD Finish
The matte black non-reflective PVD coating used on this model is the same type of finish frequently specified in military procurement contracts for special forces, counter-terrorist units and covert operations.
Unlike painted finishes found on lower-quality watches, PVD is applied through a chemical vapor deposition process which bonds to the steel at a molecular level. This makes it far more durable and resistant to fading or rubbing off during normal use.
Only heavy gouging or prolonged abrasion against hard surfaces (for example rock or metal) will eventually wear the coating.
Practical Strap Compatibility
The watch uses a standard 20mm NATO strap — the most common military strap format — allowing you to easily change straps. Thousands of compatible straps are available, from nylon and rubber to leather and tactical webbing.

Why Sapphire Crystal?
Sapphire crystal is widely regarded as the best material available for watch crystals. It offers extremely high scratch resistance and excellent impact strength, making it ideal for military personnel, police, security professionals, and outdoor use.
In real-world damage cases, cracked crystals overwhelmingly occur in watches using mineral glass. Even hardened mineral glass cannot approach sapphire’s durability under harsh conditions.
The sapphire used in this watch is heat-treated to remove internal stresses and then finished with an anti-reflective coating to improve visibility in bright light — especially important for operational and field use.
